Cracker is an American television crime drama, created by Jimmy McGovern and produced by Granada Entertainment USA for ABC. The series ran for three seasons on ABC from September 28, 1993 until February 15, 1996. It was produced by Michael Wearing, directed by Joe Sargent among others and stars Robert Pastorelli as Detective Sergeant Eugene “Fitz” Fitzgerald and Robbie Coltrane as criminal psychologist Dr. Robert “Robbie” Lewis.
The show initially follows Fitz’s investigation of a series of murders with his new partner, American Detective Tracey Kibre (played by Jane Curtin).
